Overview
Sauvignon Blanc by Zvonko Bogdan from Subotica, Vojvodina, is a fresh, aromatic white wine from Serbia's northernmost wine region. The continental conditions with cool nights preserve the varietal freshness and aromatics.
In the Glass
Pale yellow to light yellow with greenish reflections; brilliant and clear.
On the Nose
Fresh and aromatic: gooseberry, grapefruit peel, lemon verbena, and fresh herbs. Slight mineral note. Typical Sauvignon profile in a North Serbian interpretation.
On the Palate
Dry, fresh, and crisp—lively acidity and light body. The aromatics linger well on the palate. Short to medium-long, fresh-herbal finish.
Food Pairing
Seafood, asparagus, salads with vinaigrette, goat cheese, light fish dishes.
