Erdevik Stifler’s Mom Shiraz 2020 – Fruška Gora, Serbia
What this wine means for you: depth, calm, power – in balance. The Stifler's Mom Shiraz 2020 is not a wine for a quick moment. It stands for concentration, maturity, and craftsmanship that remains palpable long after the glass is empty.
Even at first impression, it appears confident: deep ruby red with a violet shimmer. On the nose, candied cherries, dark berries, and vanilla combine, underpinned by flowers, pepper, and fine woody notes. The aroma is warm, controlled, precise.
On the palate, it shows density and clarity simultaneously – ripe fruit, silky integrated tannins, balanced acidity. The fruitiness remains present without becoming loud. The finish shows length, spice, elegance. The wine carries – it accompanies conversations, evenings, silence.
The grapes come from the calcareous slopes of Fruška Gora, one of the most important wine regions in the Balkans. Hand harvesting, precise fermentation, and aging in French oak impart structure and depth without heaviness.
Awarded Gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2023 (95 points) and 94 points by Falstaff and Suckling 92 points – a rare testament to Serbian wine reaching international class.
