A fascinatingly complex fragrance that unfolds in stages: Intensive at first plum marmaladefollowed by sweetness mature blueberries and the fresh juice pressed cherries. Stepping forward blackberries, black currants, noble notes of dark chocolate, espresso and fine leather in the foreground.
Flavor:
On the palate, the dark fruit aromas of blackberries and currants, complemented by gentle notes of prunesbefore an elegant seasoning tobacco, black tea and a whiff of poppy seed strudel unfolds. The structure is balanced with strong acidity, fine fruit and youthful but high-quality tannins. The Alcohol is noticeable, but well integrated. The wood remains in the background and clearly leaves the grape variety character to the field.
Character:
A complex, profound Merlot with a medium body whose true potential will be fully developed in the next 2-3 years. Already impressive, but with further aging potential for lovers of structurally sophisticated wines.
