The vineyards in the Šumadija region are among the best in Serbia

The vineyards in the Šumadija region are among the best in Serbia and achieved European recognition as a royal winery even before the Second World War. Because of its hilly location and the same latitude, the region is also known as the “Tuscany of Serbia.” The winery is rightly proud of its achievement as one of the first wineries in Serbia after socialism to focus on quality. The Tuscan influence is particularly noticeable in the red lace cuvées “Rodoslov” and “Regent”.

repute

Owner Bozidar Aleksandrovic and his oenologist Vladan Nikolic enjoy an excellent reputation in Serbia. The Trijumf Chardonnay 2009 sparkling wine was named the best champagne outside of Champagne by Manfred Klimek and is served at the Horvath restaurant in Berlin, among others, where chef Sebastian Frank conjures up Austrian and Eastern European haute cuisine.
