Our vineyards are located in the Župa region, a small, fertile valley at the foot of the Željin and Kopaonik Mountains. The region has always been known for its ideal natural conditions for viticulture. It has a microclimate characterized by the terrain, which receives sunlight from all sides throughout the day, which is very beneficial to the grapes. We own four hectares of vineyards, most of which are located on the southern slopes of the Župa Valley at an altitude of between 260 and 400 meters. The highest point is Varina Hill, which is characterized by a special white limestone soil known as Belobrežina in Župa, which literally means “white hill”. This gives our grapes special characteristics and everything they need to shine in the bottle.
During winemaking and vinification, we maintain a natural production style with minimal technological intervention in the cellar. Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, without any intervention in the wine other than temperature control. Our wines contain no additives other than sulphates.
