The Chardonnay by Zvonko Bogdan made history at the Expovina Wine Trophy 2025 in Zurich: He won gold And was also used as “Best white wine in Europe” awarded — one of the highest honors in the international wine competition. In doing so, he is setting new standards for Serbian wine.
Character & aroma
This Chardonnay impresses with an elegant balance of fullness, juiciness and structure. On the nose, notes of ripe pear, citrus fruits and tropical mango develop, accompanied by fine notes of vanilla, butter and roasted nuts. On the palate, it is creamy and complex, with a long, mineral aftertaste reminiscent of great Burgundy wines.
Food Pairing
An ideal companion to Lobster with hollandaise sauce, veal medallions with morels, turbot or classic pasta carbonara.
