What this wine means to you: depth, structure, world-class. The Tri Doline Merlot 2020 proves that Serbia produces red wine of the highest international standard. It was awarded Gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards and ranked among the 24 best Merlots in the world – a rare success that combines craftsmanship and origin.
In the glass, the wine presents a deep ruby red with dense, almost velvety viscosity. The nose is dominated by aromas of cocoa, eucalyptus, blackberries, and ripe plums, accompanied by fine spice and saline minerality. This combination gives it tension and depth.
On the palate, the Tri Doline is concentrated, full-bodied, and refined. Velvety tannins, precise freshness, and an elegant, mineral length provide balance and expression. The finish is long, harmonious, and complex, with notes of dark chocolate, earth, and herbs.
The grapes come from three exposed vineyards – Baljkovice, Bakčina, and Orašačko brdo, at an altitude of 292–340 m, with southwest, north, and east exposures. The interplay of these sites creates a Merlot with exceptional depth and aromatic clarity.
