Dušica Rosé by Vinarija Matalj is a fruity, dry rosé blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Gamay, grown on the terraced vineyard of Mihajlovac in Negotinska Krajina. Timely harvesting during a hot, dry summer ensured freshness and moderate alcohol.
In the glass
Delicate rosé color with a slight salmon shimmer, clear and brilliant.
On the nose
Dominant red berry fruit: wild strawberry, raspberry, and red currant form the fresh, animating bouquet. The aroma is clear and varietally typical, without excessive concentration.
On the palate
Clean and intensely fruity with very persistent freshness. The texture is light and the acidity structure lively – an uncomplicated, delightful rosé with pronounced fruitiness and a clean finish.
Food pairing
Grilled pork, young lamb, light summer salads, Pizza Margherita, grilled vegetables.

Origin
Vinarija Matalj in Negotin cultivates the Dušica grapes on the terraced vineyard of Mihajlovac. The 27-hectare winery in Negotinska Krajina is known for its indigenous varieties and international awards.
