Quince brandy is known as Dunjevača in Serbia and is one of the popular but rare brandies or rakijas. It is particularly rare because one liter of quince brandy requires around 25 kg of ripe quince. In order to be able to produce the particularly mild and popular quince brandy, you need particularly ripe Leskovačka quinces, which in turn require a great deal of sun. Serbia offers ideal conditions for this. Belgrade Urban Distillery only has its own quince trees and can therefore keep the quality consistently high. It is distilled twice and with fresh spring water to 40% vol. Alcohol reduced. Quince brandy aged in oak barrels, which gives it an additional, noble and complex bouquet. In the foreground there is a scent of honey and ripe fruit, later the scent of quince jam prevails. The taste of ripe quince is long-lasting, with the pleasant aroma of oak. It is suitable both as an aperitif and as a digestive. It is served slightly chilled. Alcohol content: 40%.
