Matijašević SoviNoa

Overview

"SoviNoa" is a Sauvignon Blanc-based cuvée from Matijašević from Fruška Gora — the name is a portmanteau of "Sauvignon" and "Noa" (Noah, the biblical Noah, as a symbol of the origin of wine). The wine showcases the expressive, fresh style of the winery in white wine form.

In the glass

Pale yellow to straw yellow with greenish reflections; clear, brilliant appearance.

On the nose

Gooseberry, citrus, green apple, and fresh herbs – aromatically expressive and precise. Slight minerality from the Fruška Gora terroir.

On the palate

Fresh and invigorating, with lively acidity and a light to medium body. Dry, straightforward style. The finish is aromatic and medium-long.

Food pairing

Goat cheese, asparagus, seafood, salads, light fish dishes.

Matijašević, Fruška Gora, Vojvodina. Fruška Gora offers cool sites and mineral-rich soils, creating excellent conditions for aromatic white wines.
