In 2017, we launched
Plato , an exceptional wine series made exclusively from the finest Merlot grapes from our region. This luxurious, single-varietal Merlot marks the beginning of our premium ultra-limited edition "1 Barik," produced only in the most outstanding vintages. With a limited production of just 3,200 bottles,
Plato is a true masterpiece for wine lovers and connoisseurs.
Wine Description: Plato is a dry red wine made from 100% Merlot grapes. The grapes come from vineyards planted in 2007 and produce a yield of only 1-2 kg per vine—a guarantee of the highest quality and concentration. The wine is harvested by hand and processed with great dedication during production.
Vinification & Aging: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The wine undergoes a long, intensive maceration using the classic techniques of delestage, remontage, and pigeage to extract the full aromas and structure. The
Plato then ages for 24 months in new and used Radoux oak barrels before bottling to allow its aromas to fully develop.
