Vinarija Vladimir – 1 Hektar 2017: Limited Red Wine Cuvée from Serbia

What this wine means for you: concentration, depth, character. The 1 Hektar 2017 is a strictly limited cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, vinified from hand-picked grapes from just one hectare of vineyard – only 1,000 bottles produced in total.

In the glass, it presents itself with a deep ruby red color and violet reflections. On the nose, ripe raspberries, plums, black cherries, and blueberries combine with notes of vanilla, smoke, clove, caramel, and leather from the long barrique aging.

On the palate, it displays fullness, tension, and balance – firm, ripe tannins, moderately lively acidity, and a dense, spicy-herbal body. The finish is long, velvety, and persistent, with nuances of dark chocolate.
