This deep, dark, ruby-red red wine with violet tones captivates with its
complex aromas . Ripe fruit aromas of raspberries, blueberries, plums, and black cherries combine with spicy and herbal notes. Aromas of vanilla, oak, smoke, cloves, caramel, and leather, derived from the barrel aging, lend the wine additional depth. With
moderately high acidity and
ripe, firm tannins, it offers an intense flavor with a fruity, spicy, and herbal character. The wine is
full-bodied ,
soft , yet
fresh , and ideally develops between 3 and 10 years after harvest.
