Pinot Noir Legat – Elegance and Depth from Topola
The Pinot Noir Legat represents what Serbian wine is capable of today: precision, elegance, and origin in harmony. A wine that preserves the finesse of the grape variety and combines it with the warmth of the Balkans.
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red with delicate reflections. On the nose, a complex interplay of aromas unfolds, featuring ripe plums, red berries, fine spices, and a hint of tobacco smoke – clear, precise, and multi-layered.
On the palate, the Legat is medium-bodied, with pronounced acidity and silky tannins. The fruit is cool and focused, the structure precise and balanced. The finish is long, elegant, and slightly mineral, supported by ripe fruit and fine spice.
The wine comes from Topola, one of Serbia's most exciting regions, where calcareous soils and cool nights create ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. After 12 months of maturation in French oak barriques and a further 12 months of bottle aging, the Legat today displays balance, finesse, and aging potential.
