Overview
“7 Hrastova Cuvée Weiss” is the white counterpart to Matijašević’s red 7-Hrastova line from Fruška Gora. It's a white wine cuvée that combines several grape varieties and reflects the same artisanal standards — seven oak barrels as a symbol of its aging process.
In the glass
Golden yellow to straw yellow; clear and brilliant, with a good yellow hue as a sign of barrel contact.
On the nose
Ripe apple, pear, lemon slice. Subtle woody notes: vanilla, buttercream, light toast. Mineral and herbal character in the background.
On the palate
Medium to full-bodied, creamy texture due to barrel aging. The acidity is present, providing freshness and backbone. The finish is long, complex, and warm.
Food pairing
Pan-fried sea bass, pasta with truffle cream, hard cheese with nuts, chicken breast with lemon sauce.
