Janko Zlatno runo 2017

Zlatno Runo 2017 is an expressive and complex Cabernet Sauvignon with a deep character and impressive structure. Its class is evident even in the aroma: dominated by ripe red and black fruits such as cherries , black cherries , and currants , accompanied by delicate herbal and spicy notes. Roasted almonds , nutmeg , a hint of vanilla , and dark chocolate lend the bouquet depth and elegance.

Palate:
Powerful and full-bodied, with pronounced fruitiness and rich, ripe tannins. In its youth, primary aromas of dark berries and spices emerge, which are rounded out with barrel aging by secondary notes of cinnamon, vanilla, leather , and delicate chocolate . The long finish is complex and persistent.

Recommendation:
A wine with great ageing potential that is already impressive now, but will gain in complexity and depth with further years.
