The grapes come from carefully tended vineyards in two locations — Zlatno Brdo and Seškovac (Ralja) — with a total area of 14 hectares. Particularly noteworthy is the targeted clone selection in the Zlatno Brdo vineyard, where the winery Janko has planted sixteen carefully selected clones from 43 tested variants so far. This investment is evidence of a future-oriented commitment to quality with sustainable significance — not only for the winery itself, but also for the development of regional viticulture.
Bouquet:
Intense and complex. Aromas of blueberries, ripe plums and red pepper dominate, accompanied by fine notes of vanilla, dark chocolate and freshly ground coffee.
Flavor:
Exceptionally complex and full-bodied. The tannins are fine and silky at the beginning, but develop a pleasant, somewhat edgier structure over the course, which perfectly supports the balance between lively acidity and high alcohol content. The aftertaste is very long and develops new aromas — from ripe fruit to spicy pepper notes to vanilla and chocolate, which elegantly round off the overall impression.
