Emperus Privilège – the most awarded Šljivovica from the Emperus family distillery, a cuvée of distillates from the 1994–1997 vintages of the indigenous plum varieties Požegača and Rankovača.
Tasting Notes
Color: dark ruby red. On the nose, a fresh, floral scent. On the palate, the full, characteristic taste of an old Serbian Šljivovica – supported by the tannin of Serbian sessile oak. The finish is long, warm and soft, complex and harmoniously balanced.

About the Distillery
Emperus traces its origins to Vasilije Senić (born 1929 in Viševac, the birthplace of Karađorđe). His son Slobodan planted the first Požegača and Rankovača plum trees in 1953, from which today's maturing premium distillates originate. The Privilège is considered Serbia's most awarded Šljivovica.
