Overview
"Rodoslov" (Family Tree) Grand Reserve is the prestigious cuvée of the Aleksandrović winery from Šumadija. It is a carefully assembled red wine cuvée that combines the strengths of international and regional grape varieties and aims for the highest levels of ripeness in Grand Reserve aging.
In the glass
Deep garnet-ruby red with a dark, opaque core; slight signs of development at the rim in mature vintages.
On the nose
Complex aroma profile of black plum, cassis, and ripe cherries. Cedarwood, cigar box, vanilla, and subtle balsamic notes indicate long aging. With aeration, leather and tobacco emerge.
On the palate
Full-bodied, dense yet silky tannins. The acidic structure is robust, ensuring aging potential. The finish is long, spicy, and with persistent fruit presence.
Food pairing recommendations
Dry-aged beef, rack of lamb, mature hard cheeses, wild duck breast with truffle reduction.
