Zora 7 Plum Brandy by Emperus is a Serbian plum brandy aged for seven years in oak barrels – the premium bottling of the Zora line. Seven years of wood aging give the distillate depth, roundness, and a distinct dried fruit and spice aroma, far surpassing younger Šljivovica bottlings. This pack contains 20 miniature bottles of 0.05 l each – the ideal format for tasting sets, gastronomic gifts, and event appearances.
Deep amber brown with mahogany reflections – the visual hallmark of a seven-year-aged fruit brandy. High viscosity; the brandy flows slowly and evenly in the glass.
Rich, complex bouquet with ripe dried plums, figs, and prunes in the foreground. Vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak notes complement the fruit foundation. A hint of honey, dried tobacco, and cinnamon spice complete the multifaceted aroma profile – the character of long, careful barrel aging is clearly discernible.
Dense, velvety, and full-bodied. Dried fruits and wood spice dominate the flavor profile; beneath them, caramel sweetness and a fine tannin structure from the oak. The finish is exceptionally long and warm, with a lingering wood-plum finish. Despite 43% vol, no sharp aftertaste – a sign of well-integrated distillate quality.
