Overview
Zora 3 Quince Brandy by Emperus is a three-year-aged Serbian quince brandy, matured in carefully selected oak barrels. The brandy combines the robust, tart-fruity aroma of quince with the depth of oak aging to create a balanced profile. This bottling is available in a mini format (0.05 l) – designed as a 20-piece pack for tastings, events, or gift sets.
In the Glass
Bright golden yellow – the color reflects the three years of oak aging. Clear transparency, no cloudiness; medium viscosity when swirled.
On the Nose
The bouquet initially displays fresh quince aromas – ripe quince, apple quince, and a hint of pear – complemented by gentle oak notes (vanilla, light smoke, cinnamon wood). The oak influences do not overwhelm the fruit; the aroma profile remains fruity and vibrant with a structured background.
On the Palate
Fresh and lively on the palate with distinct quince aroma. Beneath this, a soft oak structure develops, introducing vanilla and subtle spice notes. The finish is medium-short, dry, and accompanied by a pleasant woody note. The balance between fruit and barrel is well-achieved for a three-year aging period.
Serving Suggestion
Neat, lightly chilled at 16–18 °C as a digestif. On the rocks for a fresher, fruit-forward profile. As a base for Quince Sour cocktails. Pairs well with aged hard cheese, quince paste, and roasted nuts.

Origin
Emperus produces the Zora line as its own premium series alongside the Voždov Grumen standard line. The name Zora (Serbian: dawn) stands for an accessible style of Serbian fruit brandies with a focus on fruit clarity and moderate oak aging. Quince is a traditional distilling fruit in Serbia; three years of aging in oak marks the entry into structured brandies of this category.
