Zvonko Bogdan Tamjanika 2024 – a premium wine from Zvonko Bogdan Winery, Subotičko-Horgoški peščar.
Tasting
Pale yellow with greenish reflections and brilliant sheen. The bouquet unfolds with abundant varietal characteristics: ripe grapefruit and candied lemon peel, followed by lychee, rose petal, orange blossom, elderflower, and a hint of white peach – the unmistakable signature of Tamjanika from the Pannonian sand. Juicy, aromatic, and surprisingly precise on the palate: vibrant acidity, a hint of spice, silky texture, and a long, dry finish with soft muscat notes. A perfumed wine with character – the crowning glory of Pannonian aromatic varieties.

Vinarija Zvonko Bogdan is one of Serbia's most poetic and, at the same time, most precise wineries. Named after the Pannonian singing legend Zvonko Bogdan, the winery is located on the eastern shore of Palićko Jezero, nestled in the Subotičko-Horgoški Peščar – the only true sandy wine-growing region in Central Europe. A moderate continental climate, warm sandy soil, and over 2,000 hours of sunshine shape wines of rare aromatic clarity and silky-soft tannins. Multi-award-winning by Decanter (up to silver 91 points for Cuvée No. 1 2021), Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, and San Francisco International Wine Competition. The poetry of each bottle: four horses, eight tamburitza players, a song – and wine as the language of the region.
