Optimus Grašac 2024 by Vinarija Trivanović is a single-varietal Grašac (Welschriesling) from the limestone-clay terraces of Fruška Gora. The winery's signature varietal impresses with lively acidity and clear minerality. Gold Medal Wine Vision International 2022 (Vintage 2021).

In the glass

Pale yellow with a greenish shimmer, clear and with a lively sheen.

On the nose

Inviting, varietal-typical bouquet: green apple and citrus peel dominate, a hint of white flowers and an almost sauvignon-esque herbal note round off the profile. The aroma is fresh and precise.

On the palate

Fresh and lemony with perfectly balanced, lively acidity and clear minerality. The body is lean, the finish long and with crisp, mineral freshness. A wine for immediate drinking pleasure with a clear signature of origin.

Food pairing

Grilled pike-perch, spinach pie (Pita sa zeljem), goat cheese on rocket, pasta with chicken and spinach.

Vinarija Trivanović in Šid is a third-generation family winery, founded in 1959. Grašac is one of the house's signature varietals and grows on the limestone-clay terroir of the western Fruška Gora slopes.
