The Sparkling Winery THE Blanc de Blanc 2023 – a premium wine from The Sparkling Winery, Fruška Gora.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant golden yellow with fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers a complex, precise bouquet: ripe apples, vineyard peach, and Williams pear intertwine with subtle secondary notes of butter and fresh bread crust – the unmistakable signature of the Méthode Traditionnelle after 18 months of yeast aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with pronounced, chalky minerality and a creamy, silky mousse. The style is Extra Brut – bone dry, precise, without compromise – with a long, salty-mineral finish, carried by pear, peach, and ripe apple. A sparkling wine that combines purity, depth, and tension at the highest level – proof that Serbia can produce sparkling wine of Champagne quality.

The Sparkling Winery is Serbia's first winery uncompromisingly specialized in sparkling wines produced by traditional method bottle fermentation. The winery is located in Mala Remeta, on the south-facing slopes of Fruška Gora – in the heart of the Sremski Rejon, at an altitude of 250–270 m. Behind the project is the team from the renowned Vinarija Deurić, which has poured decades of experience in sparkling wine production into its own sparkling wine brand. Each cuvée matures for at least 12–18 months in the bottle according to the traditional method (Méthode Traditionnelle, identical to Champagne) and is hand-riddled, disgorged, and dressed. The crowning achievement: “The Blanc de Blancs 2023" was crowned Best Sparkling Wine at the Open Balkan Wine Trophy 2025 – the highest award for a sparkling wine in the entire region.
