Stari Hrast's Merlot is the entry-level bottling from one of Šumadija's most renowned wineries. Approachable and fruit-driven, it showcases the warm, inviting style of Serbian Merlot without excessive oak influence.

In the Glass

Vibrant ruby red; medium color density, clear and brilliant.

On the Nose

Fresh red and black cherry, plum, and a hint of violet. Subtle vanilla note. Open, fruity aromatic profile.

On the Palate

Medium body, soft tannins, round acidity. Fruit-driven and very approachable. Short to medium finish.

Food Pairing

Grilled meat, pasta with meat sauce, Cevapi, semi-hard cheeses.
