Tasting
On the nose, the unmistakable aroma of green apple and pear, complemented by elegant citrus notes and fine, roasted accents from the partial oak aging. On the palate, fresh, aromatic, with a pronounced, long, and creamy finish. The wine's identity lies in the seemingly contradictory combination of creamy richness and playful freshness. Vinarija Kovačević in Irig is one of Serbia's most prestigious wineries. Since 2001, Miroslav Kovačević, the third generation, has continued the family tradition – with a clear vision, state-of-the-art cellar technology, and deep roots in Fruška Gora. The vines are located on the south-facing slopes of Fruška Gora (Srem, approx. 240 m altitude). In 2013, Kovačević took over the historic "Podrum 1930" – a cult cellar from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, which today combines tradition and cutting-edge technology. Falstaff regularly rates Kovačević with 90+ points – the Edicija S line is considered the benchmark for premium wines from Serbia.
