Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, ripe dark berry fruit – blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant – complemented by subtle oak notes of vanilla, cedarwood, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is complex, fleshy, with a fruity character, medium acidity, and firm, finely textured tannins. Long, spicy finish. A Bordeaux blend in the classic Kovačević style.

Vinarija Kovačević in Irig is one of the most prestigious wineries in Serbia. Since 2001, Miroslav Kovačević, a third-generation winemaker, has been continuing the family tradition – with a clear vision, state-of-the-art cellar technology, and deep roots in Fruška Gora. The vines are located on the south-facing slopes of Fruška Gora (Srem, approx. 240 m altitude). In 2013, Kovačević took over the historic "Podrum 1930" – a cult cellar from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, which now combines tradition and cutting-edge technology.
