Overview
Misija 2020 is a Chardonnay from Vinarija Janko in Smederevsko Vinogorje, aged in stainless steel. In the unoaked Mâcon style, the wine displays varietal fruit freshness without oak influence. Multiple award winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
In the glass
Delicate straw yellow with brilliant luster, crystal clear and fresh in appearance.
On the nose
Fruit-centered, inviting bouquet: apple, pineapple and pear form the fresh framework. Subtle minerality and a hint of citrus peel complete the picture. The aroma is clearly varietal and without reduction.
On the palate
Full-bodied and lively with a perfect balance between fruit fullness and acid structure. Pleasant creaminess without oak. The finish is clear and fruit-fresh with medium length. A wine for early enjoyment.
Food pairing
Grilled chicken, pasta with cream sauce, risotto ai funghi, soft cheese, roasted lamb.

Origin
Vinarija Janko in Smederevo combines Serbian winemaking tradition with modern cellar technology. On 14 hectares of vineyards, owner Dragan Vasić cultivates indigenous and international varieties. The winery is a multiple Decanter winner.
