At a glance
Jelena Rosé 2022 is a Bordeaux-inspired rosé blend from Vinarija Janko in Smederevsko Vinogorje. The cuvée of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Sangiovese (5%) and Syrah (5%) was aged exclusively in stainless steel to preserve maximum fresh aromas.
In the glass
Delicate salmon pink with brilliant transparency and a slight coppery shimmer – luminous and clear.
On the nose
Fresh, lively aromatics: red wild berries, strawberry and raspberry form the framework, underpinned by a delicate hint of rose petals. The bouquet is inviting and varietal, without leaning towards sweetness.
On the palate
Dry and light-footed with a medium body and crisp acidity. The fruitiness is persistent, the finish fresh and pleasantly long. No oak influence – the wine lives from its purity.
Food pairing
Grilled suckling pig, summer poultry salads, light Mediterranean appetizers, watermelon with feta, fresh goat cheese.
