The winery was founded in 1826 by Count Livio Odescalchi (family of Pope Innocent XI) and today combines Italian heritage with modern precision. Erdevik is situated on the 45th parallel – the same line as Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Willamette Valley. 64 hectares of vines on loess and calcareous marl soils, cooled by the Danube. The only Serbian winery represented at all global James Suckling tastings.
