Tasting
Deep, impenetrable garnet red with brick-red reflections from aging. The nose offers a complex, fully developed bouquet, which Decanter described as: “Wonderfully evolved characters of mellow wood, clove and leather, with layer upon layer of lush plums, cassis, sloe berries and dried herbs.” – layer upon layer of ripe plum, blackcurrant, sloe berry and dried herbs, supported by fine hints of mellow wood, clove and leather. Exceptional on the palate – soft, with juicy, silky polished tannins, an energetic, long, and fruity finish. Complete and refined. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from selected parcels at an altitude of 270–320 m (south/south-west facing, loam-clay-stone mixture), aged in barriques. The magnum bottle ages more slowly and harmoniously than the 0.75 l – the aroma gains additional depth and elegance.
