Aleksandrović Vožd Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum 2017 (1.5 l) – a premium wine from Aleksandrović, Šumadija.
Tasting Notes
Deep, impenetrable garnet red with brick-red reflections from aging. The nose reveals a complex, fully developed bouquet, which Decanter described as: “Wonderfully evolved characters of mellow wood, clove and leather, with layer upon layer of lush plums, cassis, sloe berries and dried herbs.” – layer upon layer of lush plums, cassis, sloe berries and dried herbs, supported by subtle notes of mellow wood, clove, and leather. Exceptionally soft on the palate, with juicy, silky polished tannins and an energetic, long, fruity finish. Complete and refined. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from selected parcels at an altitude of 270–320 m (south/southwest-facing slope, loam-clay-stone mixture), aged in barrique. The Magnum bottle ages more slowly and harmoniously than the 0.75 l, giving the aroma additional depth and elegance.
