Aleksandrović's Regent Reserve is a red wine from Šumadija, Central Serbia. Regent is a fungus-resistant hybrid grape variety with pronounced color intensity and red fruit character; in the Reserve maturation stage, it displays additional depth and wood aging.
In the glass
Dense, almost opaque dark ruby to purple; very intense color, characteristic of the Regent grape.
On the nose
Blueberry, blackberry, and black cherry dominate the aroma profile. Subtle woody spice, vanilla, and a hint of clove from the barrique contact. Floral notes in the background.
On the palate
Medium to full-bodied, with moderate tannins and lively acidity. The fruit dominates, the wood is well integrated. The finish is medium to long.

Grilled pork, Balkan grill platter, paprika chicken, young hard cheeses.

Origin
The Aleksandrović winery is located in Šumadija, one of Serbia's oldest wine regions south of Belgrade. The vineyards benefit from the continental climate and fertile soils.
